This is an unreleased live improvisation by Toshinori Kondo 近藤等則 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toshinori_Kondo) in collaboration with Andrew Lagowski. There was to be an album of Kondo-san’s work with various artists, which was sadly never released as Kondo-san passed away in October 2020. RIP Kondo-san.
I sent him several tracks and he sent back three mixes in September 2020 with his excellent trumpet playing overdubbed onto them.
In the year 2525, beat data is assembled from numerous long-extinct computer systems, to entertain the last surviving digital nomads.
Physical media is long gone, having been replaced by subcutaneous brain interfaces that receive airborne entertainment transmissions.
However, even these are prone to malfunction as the human hosts are naturally organic and leak when under stress. This leads to momentary audio glitches, often perceived as part of the entertainment programmes but actually indicative of the oncoming demise of the host transmission/reception infrastructure.

I have put some new Lagowski tracks and remixes up on Bandcamp. All proceeds from the sale of this music will go towards the treatment of Ania Mehring, the wife of Maciej Mehring, founder of the Zoharum label. She has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.
After a query from a certain ‘Gaston Grimsdyke’, I decided to search out all of the tracks I created in 2001 as muzak for the ISS (International Space Station). They are now available as a digital album, to be played loud and enjoyed for the experimental beasts that they are.
The DVD of visuals for the Wave Gotik Treffen gig on 24th May has been finalised in After Effects and iDVD. The set list, to be played using Reason and Ableton Live will be Knowledge, Sylana Idio Sua, Steppe, Mare Crisium and Journey. The older tracks have been re-arranged using the original samples and MIDI files, but updated with a deeper sound. ‘Steppe’, a track from the next S.E.T.I. album, contains old Russian UFO witness testimony!
