Interest in Nagamatzu (my first electronic-influenced band) seems to be alive in the USA. Even though I formed this band with Stephen Jarvis and Andrew Fleck in 1982, there are people out there that trade our old recordings as mp3s, cdrs and the like. Wonders will never cease.
I have a sizeable collection of early Nagamatzu recordings, including our first few gigs. There is also a scrapbook with gig listings and photo’s of us posing for the local newspaper in our strange garb and even stranger hair.
If there’s any kind of demand for the material, of course I’ll make it available to all and sundry. In fact, here’s the Nagamatzu archive and you can check out the Nagamatzu page at Last FM.
