It’s all coming together now. The CDR’s have been ‘assembled’, my Bandcamp page is primed and the streaming services will all go live on the same day. All that remains is the numbering. As some of you know, John Peel (BBC Radio 1 DJ) played my track ‘Storms’ back in 1992/3. Well, it turns out that he also played a few of my other tracks, which can be heard in these archive recordings. Note that the ‘S.E.T.I.’ track he played in the 1992 show is called ‘Vector’.
My wife and I visited The Ankerwycke Yew and I was struck by the decay and sadness of the ruined priory next to it, which seems to be there almost as an afterthought. An aside to the great Yew which stands a few feet away.
You may wonder why I make some of my live and rehearsal sessions available on Bandcamp. Well, the simple reason is that I think it’s important for everyone to know the stuff that goes on in the background and the warts-and-all sound that sometimes emerges. Enjoy 🙂
